A Corner of Our Own

Dear Friends,

Sitting down to write this first letter, we feel wrapped in the fresh breeze floating in from the open door marked Biti Bibi—a home we’ve been building quietly, piece by piece, from the scraps of our lives, late-night talks, the heritages that shaped us, the women who raised us, and the dreams stitched and poured out over many dinners, drinks, and desserts.

Biti Bibi began with that feeling many creatives know too well— of standing at the edge of the beginning, a place full of unknowns and uncertainties. No path we began on felt quite right; nothing quite captured our perspective and sentiment with fashion and human connection. We found ourselves craving not fleeting trends, but something slower, more intimate; something that bursted with life, our lives.

So instead of trying to squeeze that calling into places that didn’t feel like home, we realized: we were meant to build the home ourselves.

We worked together intuitively — like needle and thread. Our styles, our stories, and our hopes for the future began to weave into something that felt true to us both. And from that bloomed what we lovingly call Biti Bibi.

Our beginnings...

Biti Bibi is not just clothing. It’s our small corner of the world that we’re tending to with care.

As we prepare to share our first collection, you’ll see glimpses of the process—the hands behind the seams, the textures, the family memories, the earth that inspires our materials. We’re building a brand that honors both past and present; a living tree.

This space will be our atelier, our kitchen table, our studio floor, our messy bulletin board. A place we come to share not just our work, but the pieces of life that inspire it:

— Heartwarming recipes of comfort found in dusty keepsake boxes or ones discovered on shared afternoons

— Reviews and reflections from gallery visits, history lessons, books, artists and films we admire that move us

— Visual journals we collage with our art and found imagery

— Our favorite fashion and home finds, sourced with thoughtfulness and joy

— Letters about navigating creativity, style, and slow joyful living in a world that moves too fast

— Maybe even a few playlists, secret sneak peeks, and open invitations to dream up this world together.

More than anything, we wish for this space to feel like an evolving dialogue— one that you’re always warmly invited into with a slice of pavlova and cup of coffee waiting on the table. We hope you connect with it, and it feels familiar.

Thank you for coming to our front door. We cannot wait to open up this world with you. Step inside.

With love,

Emma Christine (Biti) & Vivian (Bibi)

Stay close—something beautiful is blooming soon.
